Leandro and his wife Natalia came over, and we had a really great evening all together at the hostel. It turns out that they used to live in Sao Paulo, so we ended up talking the whole time in Portuguese, the Rodrigos find this funny, they keep saying they don't get to practice their Spanish at all in this country!
We poured over topographic maps of the region and made enough plans to have another 3 months of things to do when we get back from the course. I look forward to a bit of rock climbing when I get back! And maybe a short trek, Leandro is gonna show us some places. I will have to be careful to make sure he gets nowhere near my bag though. When he took Julio out for a walk last time, he put huge rocks in his and didn't tell him for hours. No wonder he was so tired!
Totally wired now, but will try to get some sleep. Leaving early tomorrow.
