Bariloche

Bariloche is a city I love. This was a short stop over on my way north, mainly to drop off my bag of ice gear. I stayed at my favourite hostel, La Bolsa del Deporte (the bag of sport) where a lot of climbers and trekkers stay. It's a fun place. I stayed in a room where my other 3 roomies and I got into really interesting conversations. One, an Australian, is a linguist, and it was fascinating all she knows about language learning. The other was a Canadian occupational therapist, and I was inspired by how courageous her job requires her to be. The fourth was a young Israeli traveling alone (rather unusual for Israelis, they tend to travel in groups, and I think this guy was getting tired of being told that, seems he hears it often; he said he didn't like :packs:) who serenaded us all as we went to sleep. He is traveling with his guitar. That was pretty cool! I left in the morning before they were up. I will be back when the course starts though.
